Job Duties

The Solutions Geoscientist I (SG) is responsible for driving sales subsurface domain by understanding and addressing customer challenges with Landmark's geosciences solutions. This is an entry-level role in geosciences solution sales, including but not limited to disciplines such as geophysics, geology, petrophysics, earth modelling, and other similar areas of expertise.
The SG acts as a bridge between technical expertise and business strategy, collaborating with Account Teams, R&D, and Services to drive sales opportunities and provide innovative, client-centric solutions.
Focusing on the Europe (ESSA) region, this role supports business growth by aligning Landmark's technology portfolio with client needs to enhance exploration workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Development
• Collaborates with sales representatives and other internal & external stakeholders to create technical proposals and drive deal closures.
• Identify client challenges and align Halliburton's capabilities to maximize operational and financial outcomes.
Technical Support
• Subject Matter Expert and apply technical qualifications in subsurface domain to identify opportunities, map solutions to customer needs.
• Deliver technical product/solution presentations, demos and lead Proof-of-Value projects to demonstrate solution value and grow sales.
• Train clients on the effective use of Landmark's G&G solutions.
Client Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subsurface teams at client organizations.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal R&D teams to address technical needs and foster innovation.
• Collect and incorporate client feedback to enhance software functionality and workflows.
Industry Engagement
• Represent the company at industry events, technical workshops, and conferences.
• Publish case studies, white papers, and presentations showcasing innovative applications of G&G solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Geosciences - Geology, Geophysics, Geo-Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on subsurface and automatization.
  • Familiarity with Landmark's solutions, including seismic processing (SeisSpace/ProMAX) and interpretation (DecisionSpace Geosciences Suite) tools, is a plus.
  • Active involvement in student or professional societies or participation in conferenceswill be considered a significant advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Python programming and familiarity with potential machine learning applications in the field of Geosciences.
