Activities

• Interpret seismic and well data using her his skills in Seismic quantitative interpretation:
  • Gather, organize and integrate relevant seismic and well data. Recommend data to acquire or purchase.
  • Check sequence and the quality of the processing applied to the data and their possible use for amplitude studies: QC of gathers and Angle stacks.
  • Calibrate well data on seismic. Perform fluid substitution models.
  • Build Petro-elastic model when data allows
  • Condition data to perform AVO interpretation studies in the frame of prospect evaluation
  • Perform full DHI analysis using TotalEnergies methodology and Prospect risking on the basis of Amplitude analysis. Identify pitfalls.
  • Ability to generate various attribute maps (From Hilbert transform, Spectrum Decomposition, ...) and basic skills for seismic data inversion

• Participates in the full life of projects internally and externally, supporting the key technical decisions of the projects
• Provides peer assistance and technical influencing on seismic studies conducted in the region to help projects & teams ensuring that the technical quality for seismic interpretation is as per expectation.
• Proposes relevant/ ad-hoc studies to be completed to address main risks and to capture the full range of uncertainties

Candidate Profile

Experience:

• Solid technical experience, 10+ years, in exploration.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of the Exploration disciplines and related competencies.
• Wide internal and external network in the international geoscience community.
• Excellent communication & influencing skills. Full understanding of the EXPLO and EP processes.
• Strong ability to work in a cross functional and multi-cultural environment.
