FINANCE MANAGER (MANUFACTURING/ENERGY/Vietnamese)

Core Responsibilities

We’re seeking a finance professional to oversee financial operations for multiple entities in Vietnam. This role involves managing compliance, reporting, and strategic financial planning, while serving as the key liaison for regional and cross-functional teams across Asia.

The position is based in Vietnam and reports to a regional finance.

Operational Oversight

• Maintain financial records using enterprise accounting software
• Oversee procurement and revenue cycles, including monthly closings and internal reporting
• Coordinate with offshore support teams for transactional processes
• Forecast operational liquidity and support capital expenditure planning
• Assist with project-related financial analysis and data coordination
• Handle intercompany transactions and group-level reporting

Compliance & Assurance

• Lead statutory audits from planning to completion
• Ensure adherence to national tax obligations, including preparation and review of filings across various tax categories

Strategic & Cross-Functional Engagement

• Collaborate with internal teams across the region on finance-related deliverables
• Contribute to regional initiatives and special assignments as needed

Profile Requirements

Background & Credentials

• Academic foundation in finance or accounting; professional certification preferred (CPA)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in multinational or consulting environments
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
• Familiarity with international and local financial standards and tax frameworks
• Exposure to energy or infrastructure sectors is advantageous
