- Support Maintenance Superintendent to ensure efficient scheduling and execution of maintenance activities through the CMMS
- Coordinate planned maintenance work with Maintenance Supervisors to verify short- and long-term scheduling of planned work.
Job Responsibilities
- Review work schedule of maintenance activities and where necessary, provide technical advice on activities such as material procurement, to ensure comprehensive and accurate planning.
- Gather input from concerned departments to identify maintenance needs and compile work requests for review by Maintenance Superintendent.
- Generate preventive maintenance plans to be used by maintenance teams.
- Monitor activities of maintenance teams during maintenance procedures; provide advice on maintenance procedures to ensure no delay in maintenance plan.
- Review historical equipment behavior in order to anticipate problems or failures, and incorporate these analyses into maintenance planning.
- Recommend improvements for consideration in the planning and control of the maintenance process.
- Review all maintenance activities to ensure compliance with DOTL operating procedures and HSE policies, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Review Emergency Response Plans and recommend modifications where needed.
- Communicate any changes to HSE policies or regulations to relevant personnel.
- Recommend improvements to the HSE management system.
- Prepare department reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet company requirements, policies and standards.
- Compile various project, activity and technical reports for submittal to Maintenance Superintendent.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance activities and planning. Professional knowledge of engineering principles, practices and maintenance processes.
