Vestas Technology & Operations > Manufacturing > Technical Support

TS and Maintenance is responsible for technical support, maintenance of systems, equipment and tools including maintenance and preventive inspections. The department ensures the proper functioning of these systems and coordinates them with other departments to optimize the company's overall resource utilization. TS and Maintenance is the first escalation point for the factory and drives strategic and tactical initiatives as well as the operational implementation of new products. In addition, the department supports technology transfers within the segment.

Responsibilities
  • People management of a diverse and very experienced team
  • Ensure daily operational TS and Maintenance tasks & ongoing operational engineering support for production lines
  • Responsible for verifying maintenance of Facility, Tools and Equipment maintenance and tnterface between segment PE and factory
  • Responsible for defining spare parts inventory levels for Facility, Tools and Equipment and drive the operational implementation in NPI projects and of new tools
  • Support / lead continuous improvement of tools / machines and fixtures as well as support with input for tools & equipment specifications of Facility, Tools and Equipment
  • Engage in segment optimization within the TS & Maintenance scope, e.g., best practice sharing and ensure operational compliance (legal and ISO compliance, update of production documentation)
  • Budget responsible in own area and organizational development of own area


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Several years work experience in Maintenance/ engineering environment
  • Skilled with product verification/validation
  • Good understanding of production environment
  • Very good knowledge in MS-Office, including presentations

  • Great skills in Quality and Technical Support to join an efficient management team and work on New Product Introduction (NPI) Organizational Development
  • Leadership skills in change management; managerial courage
  • Budget accountability
  • Strong cooperation and communication skills
  • Customer-focused, technical and result-oriented
  • You are fluent in English and German
