Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees and maintains our industrial process chillers and HVAC systems, ensuring uninterrupted production operations. This role will manage daily maintenance activities, supervise the maintenance team, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Maintenance: Perform and oversee the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.
• Supervision: Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, assign tasks, and evaluate performance. Prepares weekly maintenance tasks and schedules, allocating work to team members.
• Diagnostics: Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues and optimize system performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with outside vendors to order necessary parts and schedule contractors to ensure minimal disruptions to production.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory for parts, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain records, reports, recommendations, evaluations, reflecting the conditions under which general building maintenance operations are performed.
• Practice continuous improvement behaviors to develop and fine-tune the day-to-day procedures to assist in efficient operations of the department.
• Utilizes the CMMS (eMaint) system and to efficiently manage the operation of the facility.
• Adheres to safety standards by promoting a safe work environment through attending safety committees, training, and verifying all safety concerns are addressed.
• May be required to work flexible schedules, including Saturdays and Sundays, and sunrise schedule.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or maintenance engineering technology preferred.

Minimum Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC and chiller maintenance and repair.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Required Skills, Abilities and/or Licensure:

• EPA Certification strongly preferred.
• Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions to complete routine procedures and/or operate standard equipment. (Required)
• Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with immediate management. (Required)
• Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
