What are you going to do

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating and supervising the maintenance activities of the fixed plant equipment
• Ensuring the plant is operating in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner
• Developing and implementing maintenance strategies and plans
• Scheduling and conducting preventive maintenance activities
• Managing and supervising the maintenance team
• Liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the plant
• Identifying and resolving maintenance issues in a timely manner
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures

Essential skills and knowledge

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of fixed plant equipment maintenance
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
