This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. You will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.
The work model for the role is hybrid #LI-Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Energy Industries in Australia. Main stakeholders are clients, contractors, and internal teams.

This role is contributing to the Energy Industries in Australia. Main stakeholders are clients, contractors, and internal teams.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Leading the design and implementation of eHouse, Synchronous Condenser, LV/MV Switchgear, step up/down transformers, and Protection.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project success, manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, and conduct risk assessments with mitigation strategies.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting during project execution, prepare detailed project documentation, and conduct SiD (Safety in Design), HAZOP and CHAZOP workshops.
- Installation and grid compliance, including AEMO power system modeling (R0, R1), with a proven track record of leading large projects and coordinating with multiple parties.
- Being very familiar with associated Electrical Industry Australian Standards.
Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled in power system study, design, and development (generation, distribution, and/or protection) and the electrical engineering market.
- You have 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in eHouse, Synchronous Condenser, LV/MV Switchgear, and Protection.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of specialized software/platforms such as ETAP, AutoCAD, and EPLAN.
- You are passionate about problem-solving and innovation in electrical engineering.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- You are at ease communicating in English.
