Airswift is seeking to invite an experienced Preservation Supervisor (Electrical) with a strong technical background to consider a contract engagement with one of our clients.

Key accountabilities

• Effective Preservation Implementation: Oversee and execute preservation activities to ensure compliance with approved standards.
• Equipment Inspection: Conduct regular inspections to verify preservation status and re-apply as needed.
• Preservation Tracking: Maintain accurate records and updates for all preservation activities and requirements.
• Preservation Routines: Execute preservation routines and maintain necessary materials and consumables.
• Condition Checks and Audits: Perform regular checks to ensure equipment condition and stock levels are maintained.
• Risk Assessments and Toolbox Talks: Participate in safety assessments and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and guide preservation team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Skills & Qualifications

• FPSO Experience: 15-20 years of experience in FPSO construction.
• Preservation Knowledge: Strong understanding of preservation techniques and requirements.
• COMPEX Certification: Valid COMPEX certification for electrical preservation.
• Construction Background: Previous experience in construction projects, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Electrical Preservation Expertise: Extensive knowledge and experience in electrical preservation.
• Team Management Skills: Ability to lead and guide a team to achieve project goals.
• Safety Compliance: Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies.
• Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Certifications: Valid COMPEX certification required.
• Experience: Minimum 15-20 years of experience in electrical preservation, preferably in FPSO construction projects.
