Essential skills and knowledge
- Participates in meetings and liaise closely with Maintenance and Operations personnel to determine optimum workloads and refine these into plans and schedules, ensuring adequate lead time for material procurement.
- Critically review and endorse plans and schedules to ensure that there are no job conflicts and that all work requirements are met within the planned period.
- Liaise with Maintenance engineers and Materials Engineer to ensure that material requirements are identified and that appropriate material requisitions are processed for all scheduled work items in the routine works.
- In liaison with Discipline Engineers review Preventive Maintenance workload to develop PM schedules, monitor, update and issue on a periodic basis, revised schedules based on actual completion of jobs
- Ensure preventive, corrective, breakdown and other maintenance activities are implemented in accordance with best practices - standard.
- Produce periodical monitoring reports highlighting to all concerned Divisions any abnormalities of PM works.
- Ensure / monitor availability of completed equipment history submitted by job officer upon job completion and ensure updating in SAP database.
- Issue various management reports such as analysis of static equipment & PSV statistics, KPI reports produced from CMMS systems.
- Ensures to process the corrective work order as per the work priority approved by the COPT (collaboration operation prioritization team).
- Make necessary liaison with respective job officer or Inspections to process the work order for scope and make the order available for scheduler to schedule.
- Entails visits to sites, liaising with maintenance, operation, and facilities personnel.
- Create planned preventive maintenance work orders from SAP system on a monthly basis.
Essential skills and knowledge
- B.Sc. Mechanical / Electrical / Instrument Engineering.
- At least 10 years maintenance experience in petrochemical environment with 5 years field experience as supervisor and with specific knowledge of and experience in the operation of computerized maintenance management (SAP) and standard PC software packages
- The candidate shall have minimum (05) years' experience in the oil and gas related business.
- Must have relevant experience in the field of routine Maintenance Planning
- Knowledge and understands the maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning and scheduling processes.
- Have adequate craft knowledge and skill to accurately estimate labor hours, material requirements and skills needed to complete a job.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to visualize and communicate the execution of work.
- The candidate has to have multi-skilled experience and high level of competency in the mechanical maintenance activities and intermediate level in electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities.
- The candidate shall be in a good physically fit condition.
- The candidate shall be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
- The candidate shall be fully familiar with construction drawings, isometric and P. & |.Ds.
- Must have relevant experience in Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP or similar), and Planning & Scheduling software. (Primavera, Prometheus, Excel and Microsoft Project).
