Elevate Your Career in Electrical Maintenance Technician with Airswift

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician for our client in the Oil & Gas industry. This is a full-time contract position on rotational basis. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our client's facilities.

Role Overview

• Perform field electrical maintenance work and electrical isolation (Lock out Tag out: Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)) for lighting, air condition, and motor maintenance.
• Plan and execute scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize production impact and maximize operational availability.
• Collaborate with vendors and sub-contractors as needed.
• Comply with requirements of MOC for Plant Modifications.
• Utilize skills and knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and simplification.
• Promote and adhere to high SSHE standards, prioritizing safety for self and others.
• Employ Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe and unsafe acts.
• Actively participate in responsible waste management practices.
• Attend and contribute to Operations morning shift meetings.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a closely related position, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Certification(s) in relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely describe field conditions and recommend remediation steps.
• Strong team player with the willingness to assist others and work collaboratively with individuals of varying levels of authority.
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Relevant certifications or professional training preferred.
• High Voltage Experience
• PNG Electrical License
