The Opportunity:
Recruiting for a large Oil & Gas client's Materials Management team, an innovative group looking to drive value and make change. Does this sound like the type of team you want to be a part of? As a Warehouse Parts Technician in our client's Thermal Warehouses, your work and accomplishments will contribute to the overall success of their Thermal Heavy Oil operations. You will utilize your strong relationship building skills to maintain an excellent level of customer service and professionalism. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your value and contribute to one of the premier oil & gas producers in the world.
The successful candidate will receive company sponsored flights from Calgary or Edmonton and will stay in their brand new, state of the art camp facilities. All of your meals are provided while on site.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Ensure materials are shipped/received safely and accounted for through proper delivery and storage practices
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to issue materials as a representative of the warehouse team
  • Participate in inventory management through accurate counts and the delivery of all materials
  • Provide valuable materials and warehousing expertise to drive innovative continuous improvements
  • Utilize and maintain the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and Material Test Report (MTR)
  • Operate, inspect and maintain material handling equipment

  • Shift schedule: 8x6
  • Safety sensitive position
  • Temporary, 6-month position
Skills & Qualifications
  • Typically 4 years of warehouse or inventory experience within any industry (retail, transportation, commercial, shipping, courier, etc.)
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and experience operating a forklift
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Parts or Materials Technician Apprentice/Journeyman Certification considered an asset
  • Experience with a warehouse management system (E1, Maximo, SAP, Oracle Systems, etc.) considered an asset
