Responsibilities & Qualifications of the CNC Machinist II include, but are not limited to:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot various CNC lathes (Mori Seiki, Nakamura, Okuma, Fadal, Haas, etc.)
• Perform minor program edits and off-sets as required
• Use Fanuc controls
• Uses quality measuring tools to verify product conformity (i.e. micrometers, calipers, bore gauge, micro height gauges etc.)
• Monitors process using quality tools to ensure conformance of products, including following work instructions, prints, and other documents.
• Reads and interprets blueprints to plan setup and operations of machines
• Report any safety issues to supervisor
