Our Project team are currently seeking a Fabric Maintenance Lead to join their team. This position will be based in our St. John's office with casual business trips to Ingleside, TX and transition Offshore Newfoundland for the completion of project scope.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide guidance and technical support to onshore Construction Coordinators during planning and preparations for offshore scope;
  • Support project day to day activities including interfacing with internal departments, offshore and the client;
  • Provide discipline construction / installation input into project estimates and engineering studies;
  • Ensure discipline project deliverables are planned and completed in line with project construction schedule;
  • Review and approve project deliverables with focus on technical completeness, constructability, quality & HSSE;
  • Provide daily technical support during offshore execution of discipline work scopes;
  • Participate in project / scope reviews such as constructability, offshore readiness reviews, etc.;
  • Stewardship of progress reporting and timesheet approval for offshore activities;
  • Provide input into planning department for updates to the offshore construction plans and schedules;
  • Provide input into offshore discipline resource requirements as per schedule and histograms; including mobilization of personnel, materials, and equipment;
  • Manage implementation of scope change and / or deviations as per change management procedures and work instructions;
  • Ensure all procedures, processes and specifications are being adhered to during onshore planning and offshore execution of scopes;
  • Travel offshore as required to support execution / installation of hook up and commissioning work;
  • Participate in performance management process for onshore and offshore resources;
  • Support and maintain good working relationship with other groups that require other discipline construction support (operations, drilling and maintenance)


We think you should have:

  • Technical Diploma or Trade Certification
  • A minimum 10 years' experience in coordination, planning and execution of maintenance and modification activities;
  • Ability to interpret and provide effective decisions on methods and techniques to be utilized for discipline activities;
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office / business computer applications
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements in Project jurisdiction.
  • Experience working in a Project work site environment and coordinating with other disciplines.
  • Experience working in an offshore and/or shutdown environment would be an asset.
  • Successful completion of an offshore medical and regulatory training required for Offshore Newfoundland
