Technicians / ServiceJob Description For the realization of the Offshore Wind Farm Yeu-Noirmoutier, France, we are currently searching for a Senior Offshore Windfarm Low Voltage and Auxiliary Technician (m/f/d) to execute the operations offshore in a 14/14 rotation model until December 2025. - Ensure all offshore operations comply with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety inspections and audits.
- Conduct daily inspections and monitoring of low voltage (LV) and auxiliary systems on Offshore Substation (OSS) and Wind Turbine Foundations to ensure they operate correctly and efficiently.
- Perform weekly operational checks and diagnostics on LV systems, including lighting, communication systems, and control panels.
- Prepare and submit monthly operational reports detailing the status of LV systems, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks according to the maintenance plan, ensuring all OSS and FOU LV and auxiliary equipment are maintained in optimal condition.
- Respond promptly to OSS and FOU equipment failures or malfunctions, diagnosing issues and performing necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Assist in managing the inventory of OSS and FOU spare parts and maintenance supplies to ensure critical components are available when needed.
- Attend monthly coordination meetings to review contract execution, upcoming activities, and challenges.
- Experienced in offshore wind farm operations, particularly in LV and auxiliary systems.
- Strong technical background in LV systems maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with offshore wind substation electrical systems, including lighting, control panels and communication systems.
- Ability to work in offshore environments and comply with strict safety regulations.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with construction managers, commissioning managers and offshore maintenance coordinators.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Full GWO certification (First Aid, Sea Survival, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights).
- GWO Enhanced First Aid Training.
- GWO Advanced Rescue Training.
- Offshore Medical (AWMF, OGUK or similar).
- French CCMM training.
- Rigging and Lifting certification (LOLER or CACES).
- Actsafe Power Ascender training.
- Electrical training as per NF18-510 (H0/B0, B2V/H2, BC/HC, BE/HE, BR).
