Are you ready to join our team as an Electrical Maintenance Technician I? As a contract employee, you will have the opportunity to work full-time in Big Lake, Texas for a duration of 05-05-2025 to 05-05-2026. Join us and utilize your skills in MS Office Suite, electrical maintenance, and more to support our operations and ensure maximum operational availability.

Role Overview

• Verify and issue electrical work permit to contractors for lighting, air condition, and motor maintenance.
• Supervise contractors to work safely and intervene on unsafe acts.
• Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) review with contractors.
• Resolve issues and immediately notify First Line Supervisor (FLS) if issues remain unresolved.
• Closely monitor contractors' quality to follow Maintenance Procedure & Practice (MPP) and prevent rework.
• Provide daily progress updates to FLS and planner.
• Get FLS's approval prior to proceeding with any changes.
• Verify and accept job done by contractors.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a closely related position, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Effective communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation steps.
• Team player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with persons over whom the person may have no direct authority and willingness to assist others.
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.

Education & Experience

• Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in electrical maintenance or related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical maintenance or related field.
