JOB DESCRIPTION

A call out to motivated and experienced Electrical Technicians with construction experience in the oil & gas industry with a preference to oil refineries looking to join a thriving team.

Wood is recruiting for electricians to join our Projects team at the Ampol Refinery in Brisbane, Australia. This is a casual role with the potential to be on a full-time basis for the right candidate.

Applicants must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for the role.

The Role

Location: Lytton Refinery, site based

This role is to meet the growing scope of work and expanding projects for the team.

Responsibilities

• Ability to deliver a high quality, consistent and competent electrical and instrument installations in accordance with both Ampol's and Wood's requirements, standards and procedures
• Ensure that all work scope is completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment
• Experience working within a brownfield environment, preferably in the oil & gas industry, however, other project experience will be considered
• Effective fault finding and problem-solving skills
• Great communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Electrical Licence
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Systems
• Hazardous Areas (either EEHA or full Cert IV)
• High Risk Work Licence - EWP (11m or more)
• Working Safely at Heights - current within last 3 years
• Current CPR & Low Voltage Rescue
• Construction Card.
