Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute, with guidance of a mentor, the analysis, design, and integration required to define and support the assigned components, assemblies and process that meet business standards, practices, and procedures, and meet the product requirements.
- Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Specifications, and industry Standards.
- Develop technical capabilities concurrent with the execution of the task of the position.
- Document technical data that is generated to substantiate the assigned components, assemblies and process that is consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Provide timely communication on significant issues or developments.
- Support the solution of problems of limited scope and complexity.
- Utilize Six Sigma tools to improve current business products and processes. Document successful Six Sigma projects via Green Belt reports and/or presentations.
- Demonstrated solid technical engineering capability and judgment.
Required Qualifications
- Master degree student. Mechatronic, Aeronautic, Electric/Electronic, Mechanical engineering.
- Sound understanding of engineering principles relevant to the position.
- Must be able to maintain a normal day-to-day fluid conversation in English on any topic with few mistakes (mistakes that do not affect clear understanding). Must have fluency, rhythm, and sufficient self-confidence in the language to be able to handle meetings and conversations.
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
Desired Characteristics
- Use of CAE tools and programming.
