Job Summary:

The Maintenance Specialist (Static) is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of static equipment within the facility. This role focuses on ensuring optimal operation and longevity of equipment such as pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and piping systems. The Maintenance Specialist will work closely with engineering, operations, and safety teams to adhere to safety protocols and maintain operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance:

• Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for static equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of static equipment to identify potential issues.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to static equipment, employing analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Perform repairs and modifications on equipment as needed, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain precise records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs performed on static equipment.
• Prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance trends, providing insights for management.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with other maintenance team members, engineers, and operational staff to ensure alignment on maintenance objectives and priorities.
• Assist in the coordination of maintenance activities during shutdowns or major repairs.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to a culture of safety within the maintenance team.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and procedures, contributing to overall operational excellence.
• Stay current with industry best practices, standards, and advancements in maintenance technologies.

• Facilities Engineering Section
• Materials Management Team

Education and other Requirements:

Education:

• 3 Year diploma combined with relevant years of experience; associate’s/engineering degree or technical certification in a relevant field preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance of static equipment in an industrial setting.
• 2-4 experience in a planning role o Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., ASME, API).

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills related to static equipment.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician - CMRT) can be advantageous.

Working Conditions:

• Office support role with occasional travel to field and offshore locations may be required.
• The role may require working in a challenging environment with exposure to outdoor elements and safety risks, necessitating a commitment to safety practices
