PIPEFITTER
(ABERDEEN, PERMANENT CONTRACT, GET IN TOUCH TO FIND OUT ABOUT CLIENT AND RATES, UK RTW ONLY)
Responsible to:
Operations Manager / Workshop Foreman
Requirements:
Time served pipefitter
Relevant experience in the energy sector
Experience in the use of Automet dimensional control is preferred but not essential
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation of materials to be used in pipefitting processes, duties of which include, but may not be restricted to: -
• Ability to interpret isometric drawings
• Competently work all hand tools and machinery required
• Relevant experience in the preparation of pipework materials in both carbon steel and exotic grades
• Tack welding of fit-ups to a high standard
• Dimensional inspection of spools on completion
• Ensure Quality Assurance system is maintained by diligent upkeep of materials traceability
• Ensure you work safely, and you are not endangering yourself, those around you or the environment
• Ensuring client requirements are always met
