Electrical Technician (Contractor) – Oil & Gas Pipeline (Medicine Hat Area) We’re hiring an experienced Red Seal Journeyman Electrician Local To MEDICINE HAT or Surrounding area to support operations on a major pipeline project for our key client, based within 45 minutes of Medicine Hat. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring local candidates due to emergency response protocols.

You’ll be working alongside 2 employees and will report to Medicine Hat every Monday before being dispatched.

Details:

• Start Date: Mid-May
  
  
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday (9 hrs/day), Friday (8 hrs), every second Friday off
  
  
• Hours: 40 hours/week
  
  
• On-Call: 7-day rotation, once every 4 weeks
  
  
• Truck Provided $100 Phone Allowance
  
  
• No LOA – Must be Local
  
  
• Travel: Regular trips to Jenner Pump Station
  
  

Requirements:

• Red Seal Journeyman Electrician (must-have)
  
  
• Self-sufficient and accountable
  
  
• Comfortable in field-based pipeline work environments
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Maximo experience
  
  
• 2–4 years of relevant experience
  
  
• Exposure to SCADA and PLC systems
  
  
• High Voltage work (4160V)
  
  
• Line locating experience
