JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise maintenance employees and schedules across all shifts (day and night, if applicable), while communicating with Operations' forecasted schedules.
  • Schedule/ oversee vendors and contractors to ensure quality work and cost-effectiveness. Verify annual compliance with HSE policy requirements.
  • Manage the safe installation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and coordinate all maintenance work with impacted departments.
  • Develop and implement service programs and preventative maintenance plans utilizing NOV Max Maintenance, using quality procedures and work instructions to ensure timely updates on equipment history.
  • Maintain and repair all facility mechanical, electrical, and electronic manufacturing equipment.
  • Evaluate resource requirements as workloads fluctuate and participate in resource planning discussions.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, review capital project planning, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
  • Monitor and maintain an inventory of critical spare parts, tools, and supplies to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and local codes, ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Manage recruitment, performance evaluations, promotions, recognition, and disciplinary actions. Train and coach employees on new roles, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Approve and verify employee timecards using the NOV timekeeping system and track attendance for evaluations.
  • Cultivate a team-oriented culture focused on employee value, trust, accountability, and collective results.
  • Support Quality Management System compliance, collaborating with QA to enhance processes and addressing non-conformances promptly.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Factory environment includes exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Travel is projected for less than 10%


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of managerial or leadership experience.
  • Proficiency with computer hardware and software, including MS Office (Excel, Word), MS Project, Adobe, and Oracle (preferred).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and motivational skills.


Pay Range

  • $27.38-$32.51 per hour
