Wood is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Contract Manager to manage a national Maintenance and Brownfield Services contract based in Melbourne on a permanent contract.

As a Contract Manager - Maintenance you will be accountable for the successful delivery of the contract. The Contract Manager will be the Wood focal point and will act as the main liaison between Wood, Client and other 3rd parties as appropriate for the execution of works programs across multiple sites and states within Australia through regionally based Maintenance Supervisors.

As a Contract Manager - Maintenance you will be accountable for the successful delivery of the contract. The Contract Manager will be the Wood focal point and will act as the main liaison between Wood, Client and other 3rd parties as appropriate for the execution of works programs across multiple sites and states within Australia through regionally based Maintenance Supervisors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing HSE leadership to the Wood team, ensuring both client and Wood expectations for HSE are aligned and achieved
- Foster and establish solid client relationships across multiple stakeholder groups and locations - from senior management, procurement to operational superintendents.
- Management of Wood maintenance personnel across multiple client based operational sites, ensuring that Wood regional management execute work effectively applying applicable Wood processes and regulatory requirements through evidenced based verification
- Overseeing all contract administration, management and support functions, including:
- KPI monitoring and production
- Risk register update and review
- Contract governance, compliance and assurance
- Management, maintenance and assurance of all contract management plans
- Contract reporting
- Governance and stewardship in the capacity of Contract Manager of commercial opportunities, including all necessary expressions of interest and proposal responses requiring commercial & execution input.
- Governance and stewardship of all services delivered by Wood, including proactive management and communication to relevant internal and client stakeholders
- Support regional Maintenance Supervisors in work execution planning
- Promoting and monitoring Wood core values, and alignment with client values ensuring that work is executed and controlled by working in a planned and systematic manner in accordance with the Contract management plans, and subordinate procedures including client requirements
- Ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements of all products and services under management of Wood or their approved subcontractor(s)
- Proactive and effective support the management of site HR / IR, including ability to amicably resolve disputes and support EA negotiations
- Management of resourcing through internal Wood services including recruitment, onboarding, retention, development and performance management
- Ensuring that all Wood personnel are suitably qualified, given clear definition of the working responsibilities, and are fully acquainted with their specific role requirements
- Ensuring that quality requirements are clearly understood and are effective in meeting business objectives
- Resolution of non-conformance's
- Accounts management through Wood internal support services, including verification and submission of claims, invoices and reports
- Recognising and rewarding exceptional performance and encouraging innovative solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
What We're Looking For
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines, alternatively relevant industry experience in contract and execution management.
- Minimum 8+ years' experience in a hydrocarbon processing and/or storage facility
- Strong knowledge of hydrocarbon terminal maintenance
- Previous maintenance system execution
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
