RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and modifying electrical design deliverables to support assigned project scopes
- Working closely with engineers, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, assess project scope, and address technical challenges
- Participating in design reviews and providing technical guidance
- Coordinating with construction teams to resolve site queries and ensure proper installation

Ideally you will have:
- Minimum of 6 years' prior experience in electrical design roles on EPC or EPCM projects
- Highly proficient with using AutoCAD, using GTX Raster CAD for use with AutoCAD and using 3D Plant Design Tools (e.g. E3D, PDMS, PDS, SP3D etc.)
- Ability to develop:
- Single line diagrams, 3-phase power & control schematics
- Emergency power generation, UPS & battery backup deliverables
- Plant equipment earthing requirements & produce deliverables
- Size cable ladder, tray and transits
- Size cables, glands, determine lengths etc from reports & produce cable schedules
- Lighting layouts, prepare calculations & select appropriate fittings
- Has a thorough knowledge of:
- Manufacturer's catalogues & can prepare accurate MTO's for purchase
- Requirements for cable segregation (HV/LV/Inst/Comms.)
- Hazardous areas & associated equipment selection
- Experienced in undertaking site surveys, prepare reports & identify requirements for detail design
- Must be available to work onsite in Portland, Victoria
