Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Asset Data Management System
  • Responsible to maintain the maintenance asset database, develop reports, monitor, analyze, and recommend improvements based on the Computer Maintenance management System
  • Collecting, validating, inputting, modifying, extracting and analyzing maintenance asset data from multiple sources.
  • To ensure that the maintenance asset management information system are updated on a regular basis and accessible to appropriate staff. To be responsible for checking the accuracy of the data held on these systems and provide analysis and reports
  • Coordinates the scheduling, performance and asset data capture of condition assessment activities. Ensures that this information is available and used to determine probability of asset or system failure
  • Maintains and updates maintenance asset data in the CMMS and Aconex systems. Performs data entry in Aconex, updates attribute data in the CMMS, links photos to assets, updates asset condition data & any other detail asset information, synchronizes asset data between Maximo and Aconex
  • understanding of material management and inventory systems effectiveness
  • working with CMMS engineer to make sure effectiveness of Spare Part Inventory Development (SPID) processes (or 2 years spare parts) as well as ensuring correct assets / spare parts details before project handover.
  • Performs field inspections and investigations as necessary to gather asset inventory data.
  • Maintains the Operations & Maintenance documentation library electronically
  • Maintains asset inspection data electronically. Enters inspection information into Maximo - CMMS.
  • Participates in process definition, improvement and/or simplification initiatives
  • Maintaining the security and integrity of information held within asset management databases.
  • Standardizes work processes to support overall maintenance system modifications and development
  • Training new and existing staff to access and to maintain asset data information

Expected:
  • 5-10 years' experience in the Up-stream or Mid-Stream of the Oil and Gas project/operations engineering business Degree
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions; prepare clear and concise records, reports and other written materials.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with those encountered in the course of work.
  • Read and understand blueprints, manuals, drawing, specifications and processes diagrams pertaining to oil and gas industry.
  • Organize, plan and complete projects.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally orally and in writing.
  • Work with minimal supervision; schedule own time according to established priorities; work under less detailed instructions to complete assignments.
  • Manage condition and asset failure data; assist with determining where to store it; QA/QC the data to make sure that it is correct; work with appropriate groups to request schema changes in applications used to support asset management.
  • Utilize data extraction abilities and process knowledge to participate in continuous process and data quality improvement initiatives.

Skills:
  • 5-10 years' experience in the Up-stream and Mid-Stream of the Oil and Gas project/operations engineering business
  • Proven supervisory experience with excellent behaviors and the ability to plan and measure as well as being hands-on
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written briefs and skilled in report writing and compilation
