Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible and accountable to assist all ICSS related in maintenance activities performed at field by ensuring maintenance activities are integrated in accordance with the Production Unit Asset Leadership team's plans.
  • Responsible to review new project ICSS (operation philosophy, operation and maintenance manual, control narrative, etc) and share with the team.
  • Develop and maintain ICSS in based on engineering standard and design best practice.
  • Perform troubleshooting for ICSS issues in operational facilities.
  • Responsible and accountable for organization communicating expectations on job safety, health, environmental and security to the Maintenance team.
  • Maintain communications with Operations Department, surface technical and other related document to maintain equipment reliability.
  • Assist Operations in the planning and execution of plant turnarounds and facility upgrades.
  • Plans, updates, and oversees all activities within his or her areas of responsibility according to the laws, regulations, standards, specifications, and procedures. Special emphasis must be placed on health, safety, and the environment.
  • Develops and maintains open communications on ICSS issues (for example, safe work practices, training, materials, and others) with peers and instrument technicians.
  • Conduct a failure analysis and provide recommendation for failed process system and sequence of event check and reporting.
  • Look for opportunities to optimize operations and implement them accordingly.
  • Verify system operation and performance after implementing the recommendation.
  • Review project proposal and detail designed for new and/or existing facilities.
  • Participating in site Emergency Response activities
  • Initiate and participate in Site Emergency Drills to raise awareness of Emergency Response procedures, and conduct team debriefs on conclusion of the drills
  • Support the application of Policy in relation to the Drug and Alcohol policy, Company Ethics, Award conditions, etc, whilst respecting and protecting the personal rights of subordinates
  • Report incidents both internally and externally (as per the Reporting Matrix) and escalate awareness as per the Incident Reporting Guidelines

Expected:
  • Minimum 7 years' experience as control system or ICSS engineer.
  • Graduate from instrumentation and control system, telecommunication or electrical
  • Has capability to perform engineering work, modification, setting, evaluate and do troubleshooting in several control system such as: Delta- V (mandatory), Foxboro Invensys, Allen Bradley,
  • Has capability to work for process control advances, fire & gas system, and ESD shutdown.
  • Deep knowledge in ICSS system especially Delta V (mandatory), Foxboro Invensys Schneider, and Allen Bradley
  • Technical skills for control system maintenance and troubleshooting process such as resetting, tunning, engineering work, and modification.
  • Understand communication system such as fiber optic, wireless transmitter, and radio system for SCADA purpose.
  • Excellent communications (oral & written) in English Highest standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others.
  • Ability to interact in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Previously worked as ICSS or control system engineer.
  • Has capability to create good reports and perform analysis for some case.
  • Demonstrated experience in liaising with third party contractors, business partners and local communities.
  • Advanced understanding and operation of Emergency Preparedness Procedures.
  • Good management /supervisory, interpersonal and motivation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of safety management tools and processes (PTW, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment).
  • Understanding of Project Philosophy and Design Specifications.
  • Understanding of Project regulations.
  • Understanding Maximo
