We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Mechanical Helper to assist our maintenance and production teams with sandblasting, surface preparation, and light mechanical tasks. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sandblasting to clean, prepare, or finish metal and mechanical parts according to specifications.
  
  
• Assist mechanics with assembly, disassembly, and basic repairs of machinery and equipment.
  
  
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment safely and efficiently.
  
  
• Help with moving, staging, and organizing parts and equipment.
  
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including sandblasting stations.
  
  
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
  
  
• Perform other general labor and mechanical support duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sandblasting or industrial surface preparation preferred.
  
  
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment.
  
  
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  
  
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs lbs and standing for extended periods.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
