Job Objectives

This position is responsible for planning the asset and their role does not differentiate between CM, RM, PM, TAR Planning or Pitstops planning. Responsibilities include gathering scope, tracking progress, resources, labour, materials, equipment, site walk downs, documentation and any HSSE considerations and providing readiness updates for such events, which includes planned and opportunity activities. This position reports to the Maintenance Planning Team Lead and working closely with schedulers and planners in the team.

Position Description - Accountabilities and Requirements:

• Planners are responsible for coordinating and planning the asset and their role does not differentiate between CM, PM, RM, TAR Planning or Pitstops planning.
• Act as shutdown/campaign coordinator and focal point between all parties (planning, maintenance, production, logistics, material, etc...)
• PM &RM (CM) WO's, the planner is to review the attached documentation, especially the work Instruction (WIN), to establish the intent and requirements for the scope of work (SOW) as their responsibility is ensuring that the following requirements are planned.
• Resources - Craft(s) and required hours are correct and applicable.
• Embedded contractors / specialists (as per resources)
• Materials - All relevant material are to be confirmed, validated and/or added.
• Call Off Order (COO) requirements (external services).
• Following up the related PRs/POs (non-stock material and external services).
• Arrange and facilitate shutdown coordination meetings between all relevant stakeholders
• Track and report event preparation readiness with regards to work preparation
• The planner shall complete a scope walkdown sheet through a site walkdown when planning a WO
• for RM to ensure any applicable JP exists it will be allocated to the work order and will pre-populate key information like materials and labour information on the WO
• Develop Job Plans for any RM WO that require Job Plans
• Manage work orders within shutdown floating networks, Event Planning and review work orders system conditions
• Own and develop long-term constrained activity plans for the asset, as input to the IAPS process
• Follow-up on logistics requirements identified for each job, and ensure availability on time for work execution
• It is expected that a planner spends ample time attending site(s). Walkdowns and site visits can be triggered by many means.
• Work Preparation development for TAR scope includes:
• Notification has a marked-up P&ID, a photo and a clear description of the fault/ issue.
• Work order aligns with the Notification
• Worder references an MOC where applicable.
• Work order is populated with the correct operational steps and materials are reserved.
• Execution Readiness (Materials and resources) - If the work prep reserves the materials and identifies the correct resource in the Operational steps then the TAR team will continue in detailed planning and confirm execution readiness.
• Work Pack Build - development of work packs saved in SharePoint Planning Library.
• Identify Isolation / Deisolation (based on information from Ops Leads and ROP's) (Arguably in the Operation steps and the TAR team would develop the isolation methodology with Ops)
• Identify Scaffolding, Insulation and Lifting requirements.
• Site walk downs.

Key Challenges:

This position will coordinate constrained activities to ensure proper scope gathering, preparation, Site Walk downs and reporting, across all production and maintenance disciplines in the asset. Work order preparation and data quality in SAP is critical to ensure reliable planning for such complex events.

Expected:

• Preferably B.Sc. in any engineering discipline, but not mandatory

Minimum Experience:

• Working experience in maintenance execution, work preparation, scheduling, or CMMS is preferred
