JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is currently seeking expressions of interest for an E&I Technician for a backfill role in maintenance at the Longford Gas Plant in Victoria.

The Role

The successful candidates will be a qualified and experienced E&I Technician, preferably with oil and gas experience and have the tools required to complete their allocated tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The maintenance team are looking to hear from experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians who preferably:
  • Have oil & gas or heavy industry experience
  • Ideally located in the Gippsland area, or willing to relocate.
  • An Australian citizen or have a current, appropriate visa


QUALIFICATIONS

What makes you remarkable?

The below qualifications are required and must be in date:
  • Victorian A class Electrical licence
  • Instrumentation certification III?
  • Hazardous Area Wiring ticket (within 3 years)
  • Current First Aid Preferred but not essential
  • Current Working at Heights and Confined spaced tickets are preferred but not essential
  • All employees are required to work safely while conducting their required tasks, and are also authorised and expected to stop the job if the situation arises
