JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Ampol refinery for 10+ years, delivering leading maintenance services to their Lytton Refinery.

We are currently recruiting for E&I Supervisors with strong leadership skills to provide day-to-day supervision of Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance teams in the delivery of work to meet safety, quality, financial and productivity targets.

The successful candidate will have an Electrical and Instrumentation trade background with previous supervisory experience in oil and gas, minerals, refining or heavy machinery industry.

At this time, we will only considerapplications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA to work in this region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure duties are performed in line with both Wood's and client HSE programs,
• Deliver against contract KPIs and objectives,
• Ensure compliance with client permit to work system,
• Manage and lead the team at multiple levels of disciplines to deliver maintenance plans as required,
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and policies with proven ability to influence and mentor others in HSE principles/behaviours.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 supervisor experience in oil and gas, heavy machinery or similar industry,
• QLD Electrical trade licence is essential (Electrical Mechanic, Electrical Fitter/Mechanic, Instrumentation),
• Dual trade qualification in electrical/instrumentation is required, with Cert III in Instrument and Control or Cert IV in Electrical - Instrumentation,
• Working knowledge of SAP (desirable),
• High voltage switching operations knowledge (desirable),
• Ability to plan and prioritise work and set deadlines,
• Good written and verbal communication skills,
• Competent Windows Office User (Excel, Word, Outlook).
