Function description

At iPS Powerful People, we are always looking for talented professionals to join our team for future offshore projects. While we may not have a specific job opening at the moment, we are actively building a pool of qualified candidates who are ready to mobilize quickly for upcoming opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare equipment for lifting, including inspecting rigging gear, securing loads, and coordinating with team members.
• Perform pulling or hoisting tasks using ropes, chains, hoists, or cranes to move heavy objects into position on offshore platforms or vessels.
• Strip equipment, materials, or components from offshore structures safely and efficiently, following established procedures and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that rigging operations are carried out effectively and in accordance with project plans.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries during rigging operations.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a rigger in offshore environments, with a strong understanding of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of pulling, hoisting, and stripping procedures in offshore settings, including familiarity with relevant equipment and tools.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to rigging operations and corrosion control in offshore settings.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and agility to perform rigging tasks safely in challenging offshore conditions, including confined spaces and adverse weather.
