About the Role:
Kariera Group recruitment services are actively seeking a seasoned HSE Advisor to join our client in Milan, Italy on a 12-month contract. Please note the candidate will be required to work on a freelance basis.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and ensure the implementation of project HSE plan.
- Leads all the HSE aspects of the projects.
- Develop and implement a safety program for each site to capture specific risk.
- Develop a contractor training program specific for site, in compliance with the client HSE policies.
- Develop and propose strategies improving HSE management for the Project.
- Set up an effective Accident Prevention Plan and a contingency plan.
- Lead regular inspections and audits on construction site
- Establish HSE Reporting for the Project.
- Set and Enforce Safety Policies.
- Responsible for coordinating HSE Training Programs.
- Investigate Injuries and Accidents.
- Carry out on-site inspections.
- Develop, monitor and enforce job safety analysis.
- Prepare and Submit reports.
- Excellent leadership and team building skills and being able to influence decision makers.
- Familiarity with behavioural based safety systems, risk analysis / job safe analysis methods, emergency response and crisis management procedures.
Requirements: - NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent, NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety.
- Familiarity of Industry Standards and relevant industry HSE regulations and requirements.
- Proven experience in providing health, safety, and environmental management advice in a construction and project environment.
- Preferred experience in Oil & Gas projects (steel structures, piping and pressure vessels fabrication & construction).
- Strong experience with SIMOPS.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Computer skills required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
