This position reports to
Production Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Oversees execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of testing validation equipment Collaborates with the Engineering team to define maintenance plans for new testing equipment, and consults on ways to improve reliability, maintainability and safety of the existing testing equipment Performs daily/weekly/monthly/annual test equipment calibrations Manages and updates technical documentation of testing equipment and maintains detailed test equipment calibration records and work instructions Solves major technical, equipment, or facilities problems in order to achieve higher performance of the production lines. Maintains tools and repairs equipment in good working condition. Proposes improvement projects for testing equipment aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency. Responds to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production / validation process. Performs preventative maintenance operations on testing/validation equipment

Qualifications for the role
- Minimum of 2-year associate degree in electrical technology or equivalent fields
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance field
- Sound knowledge of OSHA, lock out tag out (LOTO), electrical theory, PLC, automation, AC/DC circuits, power and control circuits, NFPA 70E, low and high voltage
- Written and verbal communication in the English language
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
