Compensation Range:
$68,850.00 - $135,750.00
Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Your Role: As an Electrical Design Project Engineer, you'll be instrumental in our mission to provide reliable and cutting-edge renewable energy solutions. Here's what you'll be doing:
- Design Excellence: You'll lead the design, procurement, installation, and maintenance of diverse electrical systems for renewable energy projects, including solar arrays, wind turbines, hydroelectric generators, and energy storage systems. Your designs will directly contribute to the reliability and efficiency of renewable energy assets.
- Innovation Hub: You'll be at the forefront of creative design improvements and engineering solutions for renewable energy challenges. From optimizing solar panel layouts to enhancing wind turbine efficiency, your ideas will drive the future of renewable energy generation.
- Reliability Matters: You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the operation, reliability, and safety of our renewable energy assets. By adhering to stringent regulatory standards and implementing innovative maintenance practices, you'll ensure that our renewable energy facilities operate smoothly and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Standards
- Maintains currency in state-of-the-art engineering practices and independently applies professional knowledge of engineering processes and standards to assignments/projects.
- Applies professional knowledge of NERC/WECC Reliability Standards and NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection and professional knowledge of NEC and NESC to plant design and construction and applies engineering theories and concepts in enhancing knowledge of power generation facilities; enhances familiarity with and ability to find specific IEEE standards.
- Prepares a variety of moderately complex engineering deliverables; leads smaller production teams. Develops engineering solutions that meet technical requirements, all applicable codes and regulatory requirements and follow sound engineering practice.

Project Coordination
- Assigns tasks and coordinates with other internal/external team members on assigned projects; shares information and provides professional guidance in executing project tasks.
- Provides complex design, construction, operation, maintenance or testing elements in support of engineering and construction needs of hydro, wind and thermal plants; contributes to capital budget and job estimates.
Knowledge Sharing
- Shares current knowledge of latest technology and processes; may assist with mentoring, recognition and any corrective actions required.
Education/Experience/Certifications
Electrical Design Plant Engineer - P2 Level
- Education: Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. ABET-accredited engineering program or program accredited by an equivalent agency preferred.
- Experience: Two or more years in related field.
- Certifications, Licenses and Training: Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam strongly preferred.
- Requires Valid Driver's License
Associate Electrical Design Plant Engineer - P1 Level
- Education: Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. ABET-accredited engineering program or program accredited by an equivalent agency preferred.
- Experience: Two or fewer years in related field
- Requires Valid Driver's License
Preferred:
- Experience in an electrical engineering role, typically in the electric power industry and a focus on electric power generation, balance of plant systems, electrical design, project management, operations engineering, and related fields.
- Intermediate knowledge of initiating electrical improvements and corrective actions for power plants, dams and related facilities.
- Intermediate knowledge in the thermal, wind and/or hydro generation areas; knowledge of substations preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of engineering and economic principles and concepts.
- Intermediate knowledge of other engineering disciplines and intermediate ability to interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned.
- Intermediate knowledge and application of engineering processes and procedures.
- Intermediate industry knowledge and technology trends.
- Intermediate knowledge of company QA/QC process and procedures.
- Working knowledge of construction feasibility.
- Working knowledge of procurement and contract administration.
- Intermediate knowledge of process and procedures for project controls and estimates.
Physical Capabilities:
